About Bonnie
My name is Bonnie Seide.
I didn’t discover painting until later in life, but it arrived at exactly the right time. Art has challenged me, surprised me, and opened doors I never expected. More than anything, it has reminded me that we are always capable of growing, learning, and becoming something new.
I am drawn to people, animals, and landscapes that have character and presence. I especially love painting subjects that tell a story - whether it’s the strength in a veteran’s face, the beauty of a national park, or the quiet peace of a shoreline.
Every painting teaches me something new, and every finished piece reminds me that it’s never too late to begin again.
ARTIST'S STATEMENT
I paint what moves me. Sometimes it’s the strength in a person’s face. Sometimes it’s a beautiful landscape, a quiet path, or an animal with a story in its eyes.
My work is inspired by the world around me and the people I meet. I am especially interested in moments that reveal dignity, resilience, beauty, and connection.
As a newer artist, I approach each painting with curiosity and a willingness to learn. Every piece is an opportunity to grow, explore, and share a different perspective.
My hope is that my paintings invite viewers to pause for a moment, look a little closer, and discover something meaningful for themselves.
