Paintings Inspired by Life, Nature, and the Human Spirit
Welcome to Bonnie Seide Art
I paint the things that move me - people, landscapes, wildlife, and moments that tell a story. Every painting begins with something that catches my attention: a face filled with character, a beautiful place, or a quiet moment that deserves to be remembered.
I started painting later in life and quickly discovered a passion I never expected. Through art, I have found a way to see the world and connect with others.
I hope my work brings you as much joy as creating it brings me.

SEEN UNSUNG HEROES
HONORING HOMELESS MILITARY VETERANS
WITH DIGNITY AND HUMANITY
These are the faces we pass every day and don’t always see.
Some of the people I paint are veterans who are currently unhoused. They’ve lived through things most of us can’t imagine, and yet there’s a quiet strength in them that deserves to be seen and remembered.
I don’t paint perfection. I paint truth, resilience, and the humanity behind every face.
FACES OF SERVICE
Maria
Marine Corp Veteran
Currently Unhoused
Acrylic on canvas
18 × 24 inches
Gallery wrapped -ready to hang
Available $1500
Maria is a Marine Corps veteran. She’s currently unhoused, but that’s only one part of her story.
When I painted her, I kept coming back to her strength-the quiet kind. Not loud, not dramatic…just solid.
She holds her hat like it still matters. Like her service still matters. And it does.
This piece isn’t about sympathy, its about recognition, Maria is a face of service.

The eyes are the last to be completed,
Right now, the painting is already holding the weight of survival, endurance, and what it means to keep going when life has stripped everything else away. This is one of those pieces that reveals itself slowly.
At The Threshold
A solitary figure stands near a doorway in a muted, timeworn room - suspended between shadow and light.
At the Threshold explores the quiet power of transition - the strength it takes to pause before stepping forward.

About Me
My name is Bonnie Seide.
I didn’t discover painting until later in life, but it arrived at exactly at the right time. Art has challenged me, surprised me, and opened doors I never expected. More than anything, it has reminded me that we are always capable of growing, learning, and becoming something new.
I am drawn to people, animals, and landscapes that have character and presence. I especially love painting subjects that tell a story - whether it’s the strength in a veteran’s face, the beauty of a national park, or the quiet peace of a shoreline.
Every painting teaches me something new, and every finished piece reminds me that it’s never too late to begin again.
ARTISTS STATEMENT
I paint what moves me. Sometimes it’s the strength in a person’s face. Sometimes it’s a beautiful landscape, a quiet path, or an animal with a story in its eyes.
My work is inspired by the word around me and the people I meet. I am especially interested in moments that reveal dignity, resilience, beauty, and connection.
As a newer artist, I approach each painting with curiosity and a willingness to learn. Every piece is an opportunity to grow, explore, and share a different perspective.
My hope is that my paintings invite viewers to pause for a moment, look a little closer, and discover something meaningful for themselves.
